Financial Checkup Analysis

Sometimes people need a more detailed analysis of their financial position and course in life. Major life transitions such as: career changes, marriage, employment severance offers, and retirement present challenges and opportunities for most people. The financial checkup is designed for these circumstances. This is essentially a mini-plan which will guide you through such a transitional period. We provide a clear picture of your options and offer recommendations about how to achieve an optimal outcome in these situations.

The Financial Checkup Analysis is a comprehensive snapshot of your current financial situation including:

  • Personal Balance Sheet
  • Liquidity Analysis
  • Investment Asset Allocation
  • Current Tax Allocation of Assets
  • Retirement Analysis (Monte Carlo simulations)
  • Social Security Strategy Review
  • Cash Flow Analysis
  • Life Insurance Analysis
  • Tax Estimate timeline

At our first meeting we gather the information needed to analyze your financial situation. This includes determining your personal goals, gathering financial information, and any extenuating circumstances. When you elect to proceed we will execute an advisory agreement which describes the responsibilities of both parties in this engagement. Abacus’ staff will prepare a financial analysis and recommendations based on the information you provided. During our second meeting we will review the plan, your options, and a suggested optimal course of action for your financial situation. Any questions and/or concerns will be addressed before developing a mutual understanding of how to proceed.

If you decide to have Abacus implement the plan and we complete a Wealth Management Agreement (within 90 days from the second meeting), the cost of this basic financial analysis will be deducted from our fee for the first full quarter of wealth management.
